Level 2 Electrician Sydney

Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) electricians for all network connection, service upgrade and metering work across Greater Sydney. Accredited for both Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy distribution networks.

Unlike standard residential electricians, Level 2 ASPs are accredited by the network distributors to work on the service lines, service fuses and metering equipment connecting your property to the electricity grid. If your job involves any of these network assets, you need a Level 2 ASP — and we can match you with one.

  • New service connections for Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy networks
  • Single-phase to three-phase service upgrades
  • Overhead to underground service conversions
  • Smart meter and off-peak circuit installation
  • Storm damage repair to service fuses and lines
  • Subdivision metering for multi-dwelling developments
  • Supply disconnection and reconnection

What Does a Level 2 ASP Electrician Do?

The electricity supply to your property involves two distinct zones of responsibility. Inside your property — the switchboard, circuits, outlets and wiring — belongs to you and can be worked on by any licensed electrician. But the infrastructure between your meter and the street — the service fuse, the overhead or underground service line, and the metering equipment — belongs to the distribution network and can only be worked on by a Level 2 ASP.

In New South Wales, Level 2 ASPs are accredited under the NSW Electricity Supply Act and must be separately accredited by each distributor — Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy — to work on their respective networks. Our network includes Level 2 ASPs accredited for both distributors, covering all of Greater Sydney.

Your Level 2 ASP will submit all required network applications to the distributor, coordinate the work authority, attend on the approved date, complete the work to the distributor's specifications, and issue the required completion documentation. You don't need to deal with Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy directly.

If you have a Level 2 emergency — storm-damaged service fuse, sudden power loss — see our 24/7 emergency electrician service.
